So my brother has a skin for a game I also have and we are in the same family group, would I be able to use that DLC skin on my account since his account is on my Xbox Series X?

Xbox Home sharing works though the home xbox setting nothing to do with family group. Skins normally do not share between accounts normally.

I just tested it on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre game and it worked
Like I had a skin he didn’t buy but it still let him use it
I’m hoping it will work with another skin
