I spent nearly two hours chatting with a live agent in regards to recovering my account which I had been unable to access due to my password suddenly not working and my account being paired with an old phone number. Despite the agent confirming verifying on her end that I am the owner of the account through providing a code from the email associated with the account and providing information such as the Device ID & XBOX Live Tag, I was told that they would not be able to further assist me. It’s hard to believe that a multi-billion dollar company is unable to reset a password and refuse to help their consumers. As someone who has spent lots of money on games and the console itself, I believe the least they can do is at least try to help me. With no help, I lose access to all the games I bought on my account and cannot play. It is truly disappointing. I’m not sure how much more they would like me to provide.
