They are 3 different configurations you can program via the Xbox accessories app on either a Windows PC or an Xbox console, so you can program different buttons, joystick curve profiles, etc.
You can press the button just above the lights to cycle through them.

Ohhh thank you so much I didn’t know that, so to customize them I’m guessing go to the controller settings on settings on the Xbox?
