I just got my Xbox Series X a week ago and I purchased a pair of lucidSound headset to stream with. But now I hear that Xbox will block me from using any unauthorized periferals. Does that mean my new headset is now useless? The headset in question is the LucidSound LS35X.

unauthorized means things that you should not be using headsets are fine. More like you have an issue if your using modified things like K&M adapters in games that do not support K&M not a headset.
