The console has a 12 month manufacturers warranty (if it was bought brand new), but that doesn't cover accidental damage so you'd likely need to pay for the repair.
You can try submitting it for repair via https://account.microsoft.com/devices and see what happens from there
How much for repair
Depends on which console it is.
Series S
I wasn't asking. I was just saying it depends on the console. They're different prices.
Bro i just checked
Check the repair FAQ, it's all detailed there.
They will generally send a different console back so you get it faster. If you had to wait for them to repair your actual console and return it, it would be a lot longer.
It's no different then getting your own back. Your console being returned is the same as refurbished.
ok i want that
but i don’t want to pay 200 tho
Then you don't get that.
then find a local repair place to see if you can get it cheaper.
i found one
it’s for free but they don’t have a series S option
only series X do u think if i ask them can they do series s will they let me
Free repairs? That doesn't sound very likely.
