We can’t save more data for this game or app

it constantly says my xbox is out of space for saved data even though storage is not nearly full. It keeps appearing and is insanely annoying. Is there a fix? I’ve tried moving stuff to expansion card or deleting a lot of games but nothing has worked

Saved games always go to a limited space on your internal drive. To save more data you need to clear something else. If you don't want to micromanage you can do Settings > System > Storage devices > Clear local saved games.

Would that delete my sava data for games?

Yes, but only locally, meaning on your console. As long as your console is connected to the internet, it syncs those saves to the cloud which is how you get your saves back whenever you bring your account to another Xbox.

If you delete them locally, it will just cause them to sync from the cloud the next time you launch the game, so you'll get your saves back while also having freed up a lot of space for more saves.
