I bought nba 2k24 and when i try to enter online contwnt of the game it asks for game pass, do i really need that?
Cause ive spend about an hour to find any relevant information, even the game description in microsoft store doeant say i need game pass to play multiplayer

You need at least Game Pass Core (formerly Xbox Live Gold) to play multiplayer. This has always been the case.

If i knew earlier i wouldnt buy xbox...but then i wouldnt be able to play mycity

This has been the standard in the console world for a very long time. You won't see that on a PC but you definitely have to subscribe to play online on PlayStation and Switch.
