So it says you need 4,650 rewards points to redeem the $5 xbox gift card but I have tried multiple times and it won’t work, have checked email for the receipt and haven’t gotten that either.

The $5 should be added to your account balance automatically.

How can I check my account balance? and I still have 4,883 points when it should only be 233.

If the points haven't been deducted then they haven't been spent on the gift card.
