So it's a new console and the noise was not there before, some told me it's disc drive and is normal but why did it all suddenly happen? Wasn't there before so please help me.

If it is still under warranty I would go with that and send it in if ya can ..this all i know about it and is not normal if it is really loud ..try google also ...
if it is a low sound then its fine it does that but if super loud there is a issue

Well thing is, it's under warranty but here in India Microsoft have a bad service and it might take a month to get my console back, so i want to be sure if it's normal or a issue

ok that's the same sound mine makes when i turn mine on just not as loud that may be due to where it is in my room but its ok

The room is super silent since it's it's 4 am, so I guess it's loud due to that, maybe i didn't notice it before?

could be .. mine has always done that I never notice it till you said something so I turned mine on lol had my X for 3 years soooo lol
