There are no “diy kits” to make a controller from scratch.
If you want custom color combinations you can use the Xbox Design Labs website.
idc for shells. I meant like, are all of the internals in the link exactly what I need?
Could I buy the pcba with motors, buttons and thumbstick parts, and a seperate shell and I will be fine? idk what is different about the other pcba though
The repair parts program is no designed to be a DIY kit

Certain topics are not appropriate for discussion, such as: game sharing outside of your household, self-repair and disassembly of hardware, piracy, emulation, violating Xbox policies or Terms of Service, explicit material, not-safe-for-work topics, discussion of leaks, and questionable or illegal activities. NOTE: Even though Xbox is offering controller repair kits for sale now, self-repair discussion in this server beyond linking to said kits is still not allowed. Self-repair requires a moderate level of skill and knowledge to do and any errors in doing self-repair can result in damage that is not covered under any warranty. If you have questions that are not answered by the guides linked off the controller parts pages in the store, you likely do not posses the skills or knowledge for performing the self-repair and should seek out a repair shop to perform your repair.
