Looking for some technical assistance. I have an older Xbox one that will no longer find/connect to any wifi. I just got a new series x and I want to move all my games (and saved progress) over. Can I data transfer via hdmi or usb between the consoles?

Network transfer only works if both xbox are connected to the same home network. Do u have a portable hard drive? U could copy ur games to the hard drive and just plug and play on the series x
Saved progress is saved to the cloud. Im not sure when the saves would work. U could also try to copy ur acct onto the hard drive and save data

Someone mentioned I should try to Ethernet the old Xbox to the network and then transfer. I’ll try that and report back
