xbox connection issues.

Having a lot of trouble with game and party chat.
My Internet is fine, but the xbox will not connect to the 5ghz network, only the 2.4.
Anytime I power cycle the console, it comes up with 'can't find toredo ip adress', and will not allow connection to party chat.
My game and chat lag at the same rate.
