Im trying to buy something with a giftcard but it doesnt work due to my region (apparently)

I set my region to the netherlands but when I try to buy something it says I cannot do that because my region is set to the US and the gamepass I bought was not bought in that region so it cannot be used.

you do not need to own a game to buy DLC or in-game items.

if you aren't able to see where your country is set incorrectly, then you should contact official support for help with your account
