#Problems with downloading games

Hello, hopefully someone here might know about this; since yesterday I've had problems with downloading games, my internet isn't the best so it usually takes some time but this is the first time in months since I've had my Series S that this has happened: Any game I try to download will always stop exactly at 4KB, 12KB or 16KB and stop right there, the menu will still say "Installing" but it won't show any download speed and it won't advance from there.

So far, I've tried to find a solution online and I've tried to:

• Turn Router Off and On (I use an Ethernet cable so I've also tried to unplug it from the console through this period)
• Change DNS
• Clear MAC Address
• Power Cycle the console (Turning it off, unplugging it from the power outlet and waiting a few minutes)
• Factory Reset the console (While keeping games and apps)
• Changing and forwarding ports

So far, none of these have worked whatsoever, I've also tried to test the network with the tools within the settings menu and everything seems fine, I've been able to play online games without any issue as well, it really is just regarding downloads.

If anyone can help me, I'll greatly appreciate it

What did you change the DNS to?

Google's public DNS (8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4)

May be worth adding this: I've also tried with Cloudfare DNS, and allowing it to just use automatic DNS both to no real results.

I've tried changing the ethernet cable and using wi-fi, as well as doing a full reset (Even wiping games) and still nothing, but I'm unsure whether the problem is my connection or something within the console

If your download speed is normal on your other devices, issue is probably the console. But I don’t know what could be the cause, you already tested everything I could think of.

I suppose there might be something wrong between my console and my own internet; I took the xbox to a friend's house (Same ISP) and it was capable of downloading without any problem there so, at this point I have no idea of what may be happening

But at the very least, I guess I can kinda count this as solved, maybe it's time to check a bit more into my own router

Thanks for the help tho, having someone reply was greatly appreciated 💜
