Controller only turns on with wire connected | XBOX | Page 1

My xbox controller only turns on when on charge, or when plugged into a wire. How do i fix this? I cannot turn it on manually now and as soon as i take it off charge now it completely turns off, while a few months ago it used to stay on after taking it off charge. Why?

Didn’t say low battery. It signs of a Dead battery.
