No audio coming through my mic at all. | XBOX | Page 1

There is no audio at al through my headset. Ive updated my controller, tried the headset on different consoles and works just fine, gimmicked through settings for so long and also the xbox itself recognizes I have a headset plugged in and yet no sound at all.

Oh and Ive tried powercycling my xbox multiple times, and still nothing.

when you tried th headset on a different console was that an xbox? did you use a different controller

It was on two different controllers, on my dualsense and my ps5 arcadestick and both worked fine, so no not an xbox

Well when I got it like 3 years ago (ik its old) it had an xbox logo on the box so maybe?

If its working on a other device like your PS5 then i would say its the xbox controller audio port thats the issue. You would need to test it on a other xbox controller to verify that

How can an audio port be broken though? Like its a new-ish controller

Maybe the controller is in warranty if its newish? But as I said before you starting thinking that i would test it

it could also be your xbox settings are incorrect or you dont have audio balance correct. But you said you checked those so
