Plugged in my HDMI cord to the Out plug-in in the Xbox, and the other end went into the only HDMI port I have on my laptop. Nothings happening. The dude on the YouTube video went to a "console companion" app on the laptop or something, and did it from there, but when I go to the laptop and open the console companion app, it just directly opens the normal xbox app, and the video is outdated. No idea what to do now 😦

Aw man, so I can't do it?
what you seen on you tube is nothing else. Remote play
I tried remote play but it's just too laggy unfortunately
Even with my good internet
i have 0 lag with remote play on the same network wired,
Mines not wired, unfortunately
I still get 100-200mbps download on the Xbox though
I'll see if I can buy one off of amazon
you can use a power line network adapter to use a wired connection if your router is in a other room. Those would be your options
Nah my router is literally like 5 feet away lol
But I'm prolly gonna change my setup to upstairs soon when I finally get an xsx, so I'll have to get a 75ft ethernet cord
then wire it.
for best performance i would advise both
