I have no audio when i hook my xbox on my tv and use the optical out, all my other devices work fine with the tv optical out. anyone adea what that could be?

So are you hooking the Xbox directly up to the tv using a hdmi?

just like my ps4 and wii are hooked up, i have the audio of my tv set to optical out, wich is connected to my stereo

when i put my tv on tv audio instead of optical out the sound of the xbox works fine

Do you have a headset plugged into a controller because depending on your settings that can mute the tv

When you turn it back on use the power button

You have the Xbox app on your phone?

#

See if audio comes on without a controller connected because a controller may think it has headphones plugged in if the jack is broken on the controller .

Or turn off the option that mutes the tv when a headset is connected and see if it resolves it.
