Hello everyone,

This weekend I was doing a Network Test on my Xbox Series X, and noticed the console would rotate between telling me I was getting 0% Packet Loss and 100% Packet Loss. I'd never seen this before. I went to my Xbox One X in a different part of the house, and same deal. I then went to my PC and did a Network Test with the Xbox Network there, and also the same deal. Note my consoles are wireless and my PC is hardwired.

I rebooted my modem, tried port forwarding, had my consoles forget the wireless network and re-logged in, called my ISP twice and did testing with them, etc. and I've been unable to resolve the issue.

I then called my father and had him test from his PC (he lives in a different city, has a different ISP), and he had the same issues.

I then messaged my best friend (lives in a different province and has a different ISP), and he also had the same issues.

On occasion we'd get a number like 2% packet loss, or 5%, but most commonly it's 0% or 100%.

3 different people, 3 different cities, 3 different ISPs. This tells me there's an issue on Xbox's end.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Note connection to the Xbox Network does not seem to be affected, thankfully.

something likely bugged in recent update, had issues in previous versions with this or other strange numbers like thousands of TB in data

Then there is nothing to worry about.

That network troubleshooter always says crazy things like 100% packet loss. It is not useful.

The ui is useless. Ignore it. Don’t look for problems where none exist.

There’s no need to run troubleshooters when you aren’t encountering trouble anyway
