Once I connect to a network and turn off my xbox and open it after a while it doesn't recognise any networks and I need to restart my xbox to see them again. The wifi works perfectly fine after restarting.

Might not be a strong wifi signal or something in the room causing interference. Could try moving it closer to the router.

I'm in a different location to where I live and it still does that

apart from that

idk

a restart defeats the point of quick resume

I live in an apartment building so plenty of networks

#

it's not a bad wifi card because it works fine after a restart

Well either interference or the the wifi card isn’t working properly. Have you tried just using it wired?

#

Powerline adapter might be a good option if you are in a different room to the router

do you mean like an ethernet

but a restart fixes it, and I saw somewhere that the card for the wireless controller and wifi is the same

I would try wired and see if it persists before anything else

#

Wifi doesn’t always work well in every house or apartment. I usually have my consoles and PC wired ideally

I also reset my xbox

#

idk why it's happening

Quite a lot of variables tbh, router firmware, distance from router, interference from other devices etc. doesn’t really mean just because other devices work that another will

tired root
#

because I can't see a single network

Then probably too much interference as you said if it’s a busy apartment block

#

If it works wired then you will have a better idea if that’s it

tired root
#

could it be because of damage

#

because I take my xbox to other places sometimes

You said it works when restarting so probably not if that’s the case

yeah that's what I'm finding weird
