so the most useful gamebar setting was by far the clip feature, it ran perfectly during games and i was hoping to use it again when switching to my new laptop.. but this. i know its more than capable of using it but it doesnt seem to work despite the few workarounds people have suggested

What laptop do you have and the specs?

latitude 5400

the specs arent anything good, i just used cloud gaming a lot on my older laptop and the clipping was really useful. this is a lot more powerful than that one

The reason I ask is because the gpu has to support specific codecs and not all gpus do.

If you are not on driver 31.0.101.2115 then I would try updating to the latest driver. You should have quick sync support.
