ok so I have controller a and controller b.
controller a is perfectly fine except the audio port is messed up. controller b has working audio jack but the controller has broken joysticks. I'm trying to connect my headphones to controller b and play with controller a but the joysticks are broken. i can't fix them because 1. I don't have the right screwdriver to take the cover off. 2. I got no clue what im doing 3. I can't risk breaking it.
so I just need to either fix the audio in controller a or fix the joystick somehow?
or is there a way to disable controls for controller b? can't afford a new controller

You can't disable the controls for the second controller. You could probably pick up a cheap usb soundcard to use your 3.5mm headset on the xbox via USB.
I have no money
Xbox does not support usb audio.
According to the FAQ it does. However according to users there are limits to it.
