not only is it harder for me to upload captures, all my game clips saved are gone, i did not delete a single one, but the screenshots are still there??

this is ridiculous, if microsoft is a multibillion dollar company then they need to get things right, you cannot be so stupid all the time if making a console :p

Perhaps they got deleted automatically, you said they weren't uploaded right?

Since 2013 local captures expired off the console after 28 days. We recently changed it so that they only expire when you run out of space for captures.

That said, local captures have never and will never survive a factory reset.

Also make sure that when you are in the captures app you try switching to "on this console," otherwise you will only see what you've uplaoded in the past. Just in case your local captures are still there.

you can use the xbox app on mobile still and transfer your clips to anywhere they are also in the process of adding one drive support
