#Which color space/HDMI video range/xbox color space/color depth should I use?

Hey everyone, I have the Sony X85J.

Im finally, after a year im optimizing my display. In xbox, I have the color space set to PC RGB, and the color depth set to 24 bits per pixel (8bit).

My TV had color space set to Auto and hdmi range set to Auto.

I noticed I couldn't see the closed eye in the optimization settings unless I had the range also set to limited, but i cant tell it this washes out the colors.

What combination of the following should I do? I saw online the TV supports 36 bits per pixel (12bit) but should i leave it on 8bit?

All settings i can change and their options:

Video range: Auto, Full, Limited

TV Color Space: Auto, sRGB/BT.709, DCI, Adobe RGB, BT.2020

Xbox Color Depth: 8 bit, 10 bit, 12 bit

Xbox Range: Standard, PC RGB.

What is objectively "correct" for the best color?

The objectively correct settings are the ones that your tv supports.

You can't just change things willy nilly and expect your tv to magically deal with it properly

the problem is that i cant find online if the tv supports a full 0-255 (which i'm assuming the full hdmi range is?), or if it only supports the limited 16-235.

I'm also not sure how to match up the tv settings: id assume limited hdmi range would go with standard on xbox, and full hdmi range would go with pcRGB.

i wanted someone to make sure i was correct because setting them on auto does the opposite. (having the xbox set to PCRGB and the tv hdmi range on AUTO puts the range to limited, which doesn't rlly make sense?)

many tvs have limited capabilities compared to computer monitors.
it makes complete sense for them to not do a full 0-255 levels
