Okay, so I 'm running into an issue now. I have this 1 TB SSD - https://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-1TB-Extreme-Portable-SDSSDE61-1T00-G25/dp/B08GTYFC37?th=1. When I connect it to my Series S, it recognizes it saying it is ready for media, but does not give me the option to format it. Then when I go to settings and System, the drive is not there. I've tried connecting it to all the 3 different USB ports and the same result. So the Xbox recognizes the drive, but it does not show up in the Settings menu. The drive otherwise works fine with my PC and Mac. One some suggestions from other people, I have also formatted the drive on my computer as NTFS and then plugged it into the Xbox. Same result, it recognizes that I have plugged in a drive for media, but nothing shows up on the Storage screen.
