nah. there is a setting option on how often does it save. try let it save and then shut down starfield and restart then trying to create a manual save
well the autosaves will at least help u dont need to redo like hours of gaming again

i saw via google that it have fixes for error but it dont say game pass version but steam
its mostly file permissions and antivirus/security access from what i read

if so try logging in to the game via xcloud on your computer and see what happens.

Since you’ve already deleted all your backups I’m not sure what else to suggest
Maybe they synced to the cloud before everything broke
And maybe the deletes didn’t sync
