I don't know why it won't let you do that. Are you trying to use the browser on the console, or on a phone / computer?

all three it just does the same thing it loads and loads until it take me back on the page as im still not signed in I even tried on a new device and it doesn't work

Changing your displayed birthday on Xbox.com will not change your registered age.
Nettle’s suggestion of aging up is one of the only 2 possible ways to stop being a child.
(Providing government recognized ID proving that you typed the wrong thing is the only other solution and that bar is very high)

im not trying to change my age just sign into xbox.com because a game i was playing said i need to sigm into my xbox to have cross play and i had to sign into xbox in order to verify

I don't think this problem is related to your age / date of birth. It's a whole separate issue.
My instinct is to say a problem with the browser, but on multiple devices? Damn if I know.

i used microsoft edge and chrome
both didn't work
it's like Imagin reloading xbox.com over and over until you stop and everything acts normal except your still not signed in even if you click it over and over

Nobody can make your account an adult account but I’m order to change your child restrictions from their defaults you will need to have a parent add you to a family and then they can change your permissions
