#Starfield is still not available on Xbox App PC (but it's availableon my browser)

I have the PC game Pass for Starfield,
And the game is available on my browser, but when I click on Launch, all I see is a game page with "Unavailable" and not the "install"
And the release date seems to be for the 6 Nov 2023 for the Xbox App.
I already:

  • Updated Windows
  • Restarted the PC
  • Downloaded the GamingRepairTool

Nothing worked. Please can I have help?

Try searching for the game in the Microsoft Store instead of the Xbox App. Does it work there?

Okay, your Xbox App is clearly showing the wrong date. Since you can't find it in the Microsoft Store try opening the game page directly.

  • Copy: ms-windows-store://pdp/?ProductId=9NCJSXWZTP88
  • Paste it into your browsers URL bar, press Enter and click open
    It should now open the game page in the Microsoft Store instead of the Xbox App. Does the install button appear there?

It's definitely available in some african terretories. I couldn't find anything regarding your delayed release date but it seems there's nothing else we can do except for waiting.

@pliant crater so I get a possible fix,

  • Game Pass seems to not be allowed in Cameroon, some games are very regarding on that : https://www.xbox.com/en-US/regions
  • So when I change my Windows Region to USA or france I start to see the game downloadable at least on the windows store.

Changing regions can count as marketplace fraud and you're not allowed to access content not available in your region.

Well.. it was a region thing. To be clear, as stated above I'm located in the Midwest US and have more than enough documentation to prove it. I see that was a worry above with potential fraud. It was set to the Aland Islands (brand new laptop I just bought). So I changed it to the United States. My regional format was also not correct.

Issue resolved.. I thank you for your time!

Glad you resolved it! Making sure your region and language are accurate is important, or a bunch of things won't work.
