Any time I'm currently trying to open up my Xbox One and play any sort of backwards compatible games I'm unable to do so for a variety of different reasons. Ranging from no accounts showing up as well as it saying my Xbox 360 doesn't have internet but my Xbox one is connected through ethernet and everything else works excellently on my Xbox One.
#Backwards Compatability Issues

I would check your account config
Could you describe how it isn’t opening? Is it giving an error code?
Maybe it’s just not back compat
Had a similar issue with nfs rivals for 360
Thought the disk was scratched but it’s just not compatable
I mean it's any game
Let me launch one up rq I'll start with the classic puzzle quest
Starts with a loading screen saying getting your Xbox 360 info
So you are able to load into the game
Then none of my profiles are up so I have to try downloading them
Then checking network status
You might need to sign in
Then after that it says can't connect to Xbox Live select test connection to troubleshoot your connection
Everything else on my Xbox works perfectly fine.
Have you tried restarting the Xbox
Multiple times
I've tried thar too.
Does the game need you to play online with others
No but i cant even sign into my profile to get my progress I have
Try actually selecting test connection
It brings me to the xbox one network screen
Leave your internet and rejoin? Idk what else if that doesn’t work
Cus I mean like I said I'm even on an ethernet connection
Maybe it’s your Ethernet cable
Works perfectly fine for anything xbox one though
The only issue I have with my console is backwards compatability.
At this point just go to official support
They didn't help me either.
In fact I've gotten about as much out of official support then out of you
would help to describe what game too
