CD album art in the media player?

I know im probably one of the only people who actually uses the feature of being able to play CDs with the media player on xbox. I wanted to know if it was somehow possible to get album art in the media player, since setting it to "look up missing album art and artist online" does nothing.

Hey! I think the CD has to be made to support it, but hey at least you have the music right?

I would just rip the CD to flac and use something like plex

Cd album art is pulled from a few standard online databases based on an id on the disc or a clever hash based on # of tracks and seconds per track. The cd doesn’t have to be specially made to get art shown

If i want to listen to music i just use my phone. For that i have no idea

Usually I just use spotify if i wanna listen on xbox but using my cds is fun sometimes
