EA Play not working

I have gamepass and i just built my first computer. I try to download EA games through the xbox app and it takes me to the EA launcher, then it tells me to purchase EA play even though i own game pass ultimate.

You have to download it through the EA launcher. Sign in using your Microsoft account

It has to be your Microsoft because that’s connected with your GamePass

so i'd have to keep switching between my old and new account

i wonder if theres a way to link them both

welp.. i guess i'll just stick with my original account then

since i have a bunch of saved data on it

wait, no it logged into my original EA account

but its still telling me to buy EA play even after signing in with my microsoft account

it says its linked.. but it wont let me use EA play

this is dumb
