Series x is making some sort of disk reading noise every time I open it even though I don't have any CD in it (nor have I ever did)

I don't know how the interiors of a console work

So I can never really open the console itself

press the eject button to just make sure it knows it doesn't have a disc in it.

the fan will spin up when you turn it on, but I don't think it tries to read a disc automatically?

To my memory it didn't make that noise in the previous month

And I haven't really used any CDs since the I got it.
