To check whether your console detects your storage device:
Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Storage devices.
If you see your storage device listed, your console has detected it.
Does it show up at all in that section?
Nope, absolutely not, I really don't know what to do.
I just tried to connect it again, it appeared in my storage devices and then dissapeared a second later, like it was never there.
Connect it too a PC and format it too NTFS on a PC. Then restart your Xbox plug it back into the xbox it should ask you if you if you want too format it select games.
If it doesnt pop up then check the storage screen again too see if it shows there. Restart your xbox a few times. Make sure the storage drive is USB 3.0 or above and your using the cable for it. I also has to be bigger than 128gb
okay so did you follow what i advised??
I'm finding some tutorials on how to format on pc
alright, finished formatting it as NTFS, I'm now going to restart my console. I'll update here for any issues.
it's still not working, it keeps dissapearing from my storage devices. It appears when I connect it, then dissapears a second later.
I finally found a solution! I took my One S, formatted it for games, set it for multiple consoles and now it works!
super weird but at least you got it to work
