When updating, I must download the whole game over and over and over

Hey there guys, so every time i try to update any game on Xbox, the download of the update wont start, but instead of that xbox is "searching" for the files, but not just the important one, it checks the whole game. Like in my downloading speed, so any update takes hours do download, even the smallest ones. Can anyone relate or help?

If you cancel an update it deletes the game and you have to start all the way over
