Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me with the click here to continue playing message that comes up on screen when streaming from the xbox app on my pc using OBS. I'm sure this has been asked a million times over but I'm just now finding out about the message since I hadn't been able to stream in a while, thank you in advance.

First I would use the updated app available on the store, companion app is outdated

I think I just call it companion as that's what it was called before it was replaced... its like calling a store you grew up going to for years then all of a sudden got changed so you keep calling it by its old name haha but yeah its the most current xbox app for pc and only started doing it after it updated. When I click off the page to manage my stream in OBS that "click here to continue playing" displays and the screen goes dark then ruins my stream

Yes, this is by design, because the app needs focus to send the gamepad input to the stream to your console.

You can always file feedback so they have data. I actually think it's annoying that it does that, but it's not my decision.

The thing that gets me is that it never did it until Microsoft released a new update thats when it started doing it. I just didn't know if someone knew of a work around to removing it so it doesn't show in my stream
