Today I wanted to play my old Xbox 360 games on my Xbox One S but it keeps saying to download blue ray disc so i tried another game and it still didn't work it kept saying to download blue ray disc

you never ansered if the game was back compat or not

I live in the middle East and the game looks like pirate copy of it but still worked on my old Xbox 360

But doesn't work on my Xbox One s

If it's trying to install the blu-ray disc player it's not recognizing your disc as a 360 game (it thinks it's a DVD). There are a few reasons why this might happen:

1. Your Xbox One isn't connected properly to the Xbox network
2. Your disc is dirty or damaged
3. Your disc drive is dirty or damaged
4. ???

My Xbox One is connected to the Xbox network
My disc was fully cleaned and was not damaged
My disc drive is not dirty or damaged

It worked on my Xbox 360

But didn't work on the Xbox One s

You still have not said what the game is or if you looked up that it is indeed a back compat game

Not every 360 game is backwards compatible with xb1 consoles
