I have the lenovo g27q-30 and a xbox series the monitor is rated for 1440p and 165hz and im using the cable the xbox came with so we wont it do 1440p at 120hz

Do the specs say it can do that on hdmi or only on DisplayPort?

It say it can do 30 kHz - 230kHz horizontal and 48 -144 Hz vertical over hdmi

does it display 120 at 1440p with any other hdmi cable? fyi the cable that comes with a series consoles is a hdmi 2.1 which is only needed for 4k120. for 1440p120 u need a regular hdmi 2.0 cable.

Higher grade cables support all the features from lower grades.

Series S comes with an HDMI 2.0 cable.
Series X comes with an HDMI 2.1 cable.
