Get some WD40 or other lubricant and get it in the trigger. Squeking is caused by plastic parts rubbin together. Mine used to do that
is it fine that it started doing that like two hours after i unboxed it?
Do not blast WD40 in to your controller.
Use the controller for another hour or two and see if it goes away as parts get squeezed together. If it does not go away, return it.
WD40 doesnt harm controllers my guy
yes
it would be more concerning if it did that awhile after you got it
Wd40 is one of the worst lubricants you can buy because it is not primarily a lubricant. It is primarily a water displacer and rust inhibitor
When initially used it is a cleaning fluid but when left to sit it is a dirt attractor which is the opposite of what you want
Yes but only if you put too much. When my right trigger on my ps5 squeked i went outside and sprayed wd40 on the ground and then there was a little tiny bit left on the tip of the nozzle so i wiped the nozzle on the trigger and pushed the trigger in a couple times and the squeking has been gone
