I just came back from a 3 week trip and now turned on my console, the console turns on but doesn't give any display on the tv
What could be the problem?
The hdmi cable? And if yes is it sold separately and what brand is it?

It works now
Also i thought my pin was bent so i used a safety pin to fix it
The hdmi cable works but the sides of it are all scratched up now
From one side its scratched and destroyed
The pins are fine
But the metal piece on its side is broken/scratched up completely and a bit of plastic near the bits is broken too now
The xbox turns on now
But does it matter?

It works as of now
But the metal has detoriated cz of the constant tangling within it etc and some residue is left on the sides
