Hello, I have an external hdd attached to the xbox series s device, but it is set for media and videos and I cannot install games, it says the device must be usb 3.0 and 128 gb or more. I formatted the hdd for xbox, my hdd is 700 gb and usb 3.0 but it still says it does not support 3.0 pls help me

Toshiba canvio plus 3.0 and i do ntfs format

It might not be compatible with Xbox

the drive is probably USB 2.0 but they advertised it as 3.0

Are you using a USB 3 cable?
