I’m having a problem with my external storage for my Xbox series S, My external storage isn’t working, I have tried replugging it in multiple multiple times, I’ve tried restarting my Xbox, turning my Xbox off and keeping it off for a while. I’ve only had the external storage for around 2 weeks.

external storage is a very broad. it could mean the expansion card for optimized games or portable hdds for last gen games etc.

It sounds like you have an unstable connection. I would check the wire to make sure it’s rated for USB 3 bandwidth and it may help to go through a powered USB hub.
