Bought game on friends console, my account, how do I play it on my console now? | XBOX | Page 1

Hey so I might have done an oopsie, and yknow thats fine, but id like to be able to resolve it if possible… im in another state visiting a friend right now, and I bought a game on their xbox console in hopes to start playing there, and finish at home on my console. I bought the game with my account information, logged in to my microsoft account. BUT, im having no luck accessing the other games I bought on my home console from the friend’s console… sooo im kind of worried I wont be able to play this game I bought when I get home. Might have just bought my friend a game shes never gunna play XD

Is there any way to get my game over to MY console, even though I bought it on another console? Thats essentially my question. Would really appreciate some help.

Any game you purchase will be tied to the account that purchased it. If you sign in to your account on a browser and go to account.microsoft.com, pull up your order history, do you see the games you purchased?

I think I realize why I cant access the other games from my home console, I must have bought them on a different account, because I ONLY see the game I bought at my friends house in my order history (from this account). This makes me feel a lot better. Ill log into the account the other games are probably on and try it then. This is probably confusing, but you did help me a lot, thank you lol.
