Xbox updated and screen has gone black

hey y’all, so I turned my Xbox on and it had an update so I proceeded with the update, but once the update had finished the screen just went black and still is black. The Xbox is still on and I don’t know if it restarted like it usually does after an update and I don’t know what to do because I have no clue if the update is actually finished or not. If I hold the Xbox button my controller however it does bring up the turn off controller/turn off Xbox bit though, but asides from that nothing is happening. Any help would be appreciated

turned it off and on again, same thing still happens, genuinely think my Xbox is broken

Look up the instructions for doing a factory reset

fixed it, turns out it was the black screen of death

had to completely restart my Xbox
