I’d prefer to describe this in DMs as it is pretty lengthy, but essentially my brand new Xbox sx shows me a black screen after booting up, despite me seeing the normal pop up once I hold down the button on my controller

We don’t offer personal DM support here. It is inefficient and troublesome.

I hooked up my Xbox SX along with my Xbox One to my old TV (I recently bought a new one). I had both plugged into hdmi and running so I can start my network transfer to transfer my games and data, once I finished the setup and clicked the last input nothing happened or started installing. I didn’t make much of it and decided to simply restart the console. After I restarted it I was greeted with the Xbox symbol meaning it was starting up followed by a dark grey screen, the dimness of the screen would change when i click the Xbox button on my controller. Also, the normal pop up menu would be shown when holding down the Xbox button. I again didn’t make much of it and decided to set both Xbox’s aside and set up my new tv on my mount which took me 15-20 minutes and the Xbox was unplugged during this time. I then plugged it in along with the hdmi and was greeted with the exact same thing. New hdmi port on a new tv, new hdmi cable, $600 brand new Xbox, and I am staring at a grey screen. I’ve power cycled it along with waited on this screen for up to 20 minutes as well as restarted it using the pop up menu from my controller. Any tips? Please help, I’m not even sure if I can return it and it initially worked fine, so what could possibly have gone wrong.
