i wanna get a 360 for games that cant be played via backwards compatability like simpsons game, sega superstar tennis etc, so what was the best 360 before the xbox one came out?

I mean personally I would look for one very specific model of the phat, but for easiness I would recommend you look for a slim model and make sure it's not 4gb

E and S are both good. S is much more common so if you need replacement power supplies, etc, it'll be easier to find those.

Spinning CDs aren’t fast enough to load all the data in a reasonable way for modern games.
Hence they need to be installed to a hard drive or ssd

yeah so a xbox 360 game is around 8gb a xbox one series game is 80gb 10 times bigger some are alot more. Disc readers can not read that amount of data that fast in order too have a great experanice

you do have the option to install 360 games though? i remember it made the console a lot quieter

i like the design of the e but apparently it has less ports and like em said the S is more common so spare parts would be easier

ah i not sure it was 5 months but the 360 was supported for many years into the xbox one gen
