#xbox not turning on properly

Turn my xbox on got a black screen i could press the xbox button and hear sound but still black screen.
2nd time i turned it on my tv said i have no signal.
So i turned it off then turned off power at wall and its just come on and worked fine. Would could the issues be for the first 2 times? My xbox has sat in the exact same place since i bought it
