Hallo, lately, i have been working and finally got the money to buy a Series S, but i still have questions regarding it,
1440p would do nicely, but is it possible to have 4K quality on the Series S?

Secondly, i plan to subscribe to the Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, since the Series S is digital, when i download a game from the Game Pass, and play it, and say, the game has saved progress on it, and I don't renew my subscription for a month or so, do I lose that progress? after the subscription is over, will the games i installed through the pass become unaccessible?

Thirdly, i plan to play Fifa 23, Minecraft, Fortnite, PUBG, GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 on my Series S, would the 512 GB of storage do nicely? Or will I have to buy an additional storage method? Note that those are my main want-to-play games and I don't think I'll add any games for probably a long time.

Fourthly, If you yourself is a Series S owner, how would you rate it on the scale of 10 when it comes to graphics, loading times, are you satisfied with your Series S?

Finally, what are other things i should know about Series S that i may not know? like cons, tips or otherwise?

Thank you for your time, and have a wonderful day XboxOneBW

Certain games maybe at 4k but not native. if u have gpu and it expire saves is saved to the cloud. when gpu expire u cant play them even if they r installed on ur series s. whenever u either renew gpu or buy those games u just pick up from where u left off. those would be enough maybe. u should invest in a portable hdd to play ur xb1 games like rdr2 and play optimized games on internal. series x owner. i would recommend getting the new 1tb series s if u could afford it. 512gb isnt what u have. u got 337 gigs or so after the operating system/system updates.

#

also gta5 depends on which version u getting optimized or xb1 version

@remote lintel hope this helps

that's a hell of a lot your likely better using google too get some of your information however

Your Saves are stored in the cloud for you. If you decide to stop your gamepass memberships you would lose access to that game unless you brought it. You saves will still be there if you choose too sign back up or brought the game at any time. You also get a discount for buying a game on GP

#

Some of the games you talked about are not on gamepass so you may want too look into that. 512gb is doable but your likely cutting it fine for those games. But you can uninstall or use the cloud if need be or extra storage. Just remember you need the expansion card to play series games or the internal drive.

#

If your looking at buying the console then i would personally go for the 1tb model of the Series S that is coming this fall.

#

You not going to get many games at 4k on series S. 1440p you may get some.

# remote lintel it does

You can use any screen that as a HDMI port or use a adapter however you want too consider what your screen supports for example some screens may only support 1440p over DP not HDMI. Personally i would be looking at frame rates too that is more important.

What do u prefer resolution or framerate?

remote lintel
#

I'd take 1080p or 1440p but 720p is good

#

As for Framerate anything around 60 is enough

#

45 is enough too

Series s can do 120fps at 1440p if u have hardware that supports that over hdmi

remote lintel
#

I have a 4K tv with HDMI support

supple flax
#

U dont need hdmi 2.1 monitors thats only needed for 4k120

#

It wont do 4k is majority of the games. Series s isnt powerful enough for that

That'll be fine

I'm not a Hardcore gamer

As long as it looks pretty it works

After those games u pretty much have little room left on the 512gb series s. So try to get the 1tb series if u can
