I forgot my automatic payment feature on enabled on Xbox game pass ultimate and I was charged $16.00. I let that side and i decided to cancel the automatic subscription, and now it Saids I have no Xbox game pass ultimate? Did $16 dollars just get wasted here…?

So I basically never let the process go through to the fullest. By canceling my subscription a few hours after the charge happened?
Because I was charged $16 automatically and I canceled the automatic payment once I saw the email
