I recently brought a Xbox series X and with game pass Ultimate I downloaded a Xbox 360 game. Going to play it brings up a pop-up saying download profile since I've never had an Xbox 360 I try to sign in with my Microsoft account to no prevail saying the password must be between 6 to 16 letters & that two-factor authentication might be to blame. I just don't get it am I making an account do I need a separate 360 account? Is my password too long?

If you have 2FA enabled then you need to set up an app password for the 360 profile - https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/help/xbox-360/security/set-up-app-password

Thanks sooo much!! I was stumped all day will I have to repeat this again or just use that same password I got?

If you're prompted for the password again for the 360 profile, use the same one.

But you can create new ones if needed.
