So I have two problems. I've enabled 2fa at my Microsoft account but when I logged out and tried to sing in the Microsoft account with only my code it worked. Shouldn't it send me a code at my phone ? And secondly I ve bought the master chief collection from steam to play multi-player with my friends. But they have xbox series s. Do they need xbox live for multi-player?

On a series S|X console, it should prompt on your phone on first login, but after that, it won't ask again if you have auto sign in enabled.

your phone will not show in my devices as far as i know mine dont. If you mean your phone number then that will show in contact details. The code will be sent too what ever you selected and set up that could be Text (SMS) Email or the Microsoft 2 factor app
